Just to be perfectly frank ... special jazz orchestra presentation set for Medicine Hat Dec. 16

The Calgary Jazz Orchestra presents “A Perfectly Frank Christmas” on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Medicine Hat College in the Eresman Theatre for all ages to enjoy.


With a wide range of music made famous by Frank Sinatra to holiday favourites, some of Calgary’s top professional musicians will entertain, make audiences laugh, and set attendees in the mood for the Christmas season.
“We love Christmas, performing together, and sharing this tradition with our audience,” says director Johnny Summers. “This year will be a new show including a vocal competition for Baby, It’s Cold Outside and a song from Frozen.”
The Calgary Jazz Orchestra directed by Johnny Summers, is comprised of Calgary’s top professional musicians, many of which include JUNO nominees, Global Music Award winners, TD Grand Jazz Award winners, WCMA Heritage Award nominees, and AMPIA Award nominees.
Entering into their 12th season of creativity and entertainment, the CJO continues to make their performances an accessible and unique musical experience to the highest quality, with their main objective in mind, to have fun.
