Duchess youths will be having a good time

The Duchess Youth Network Group will host a youth night with games, music and contests Dec. 2 from 7-10 p.m. at the Duchess Recreation Centre. It is for those in grades 7-12 in the County of Newell region. Organizers are also hoping for some local entertainment.

More often than not, many singers start out having a penchant for singing or playing a musical instrument at a young age. Their talent is encouraged and they improve from that point.

For a group of students from Seven Persons School, Oct. 26, 2016 will be a day they won’t soon forget and in 2016, they have had a lot of memorable moments.

Medicine Hat is just one centre in Alberta taking part in the Alberta Wide Rally Against NDP on Nov. 5. Others will take place in 11 centres from Fort McMurray and Grande Prairie, to Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, Hanna, Lethbridge, and Medicine Hat.
