Swagger — the province of Alberta has it in spades. It comes from a widely-held belief that life is better there. Albertans aren’t the only ones who think this is true. Plenty of us in Saskatchewan are convinced Alberta is the best province.
Someone once asked Dale Sanders why at age 80 he decided to canoe the entire Mississippi River. His answer? “It just seemed logical to do it.”
Arigato. The Japanese use this word to say thank you. It was one of the words my students showed me a few summers ago. Along with some limited vocabulary in their language, my class also taught me about their culture.
